How to save a connection in Personal Safe

Not sure if your VPN connection is backed up? The safe icon in the connection list indicates whether a connection has been stored in your Personal Safe:

To add a connection to your Personal Safe, simply right click the connection and select 'Add to Personal Safe' for access across all your devices.

Increase your security level
Personal Safe adds an additional, strong security level to your VPN connections. All your connection details are encrypted with a high-security encryption key (Argon3 + PKTNY). Only you personally have access to this.

You are protected, even if your Mac system is damaged or your iPhone is lost. Your VPN connections are securely stored in your Personal Safe. When you start with a new system, you only need to log in once and you can continue working with your connections as usual.

Access all your connections on all your personal devices
Do you use an office iMac and have your iPad with you on the go? Personal Safe ensures a 1:1 synchronization of your VPN connection setup. Automatic, secure and reliable.

How are connections stored?
Once you add new connections to your Personal Safe, they will be encrypted with your personal encryption key and stored in a secure cloud storage area. From then on, access is only possible with the personal user credentials plus the associated encryption key.


Are the connections secure?
Personal Safe was developed from scratch for interaction with VPN connections. Unlike conventional storage systems that rely solely on passwords to protect them and leave data untouched, Personal Safe encrypts all your connections using state-of-the-art high-security encryption keys that only the user himself has access to.
